The Settings menu is an access point for core OwnerRez functionality, and as such I go into that menu more times than I can count every day. Having it located front and center in the top menu allowed me to get to it immediately and seamlessly to carry out my business.
Now that it has been moved to the far right past the Help menu and search field and buried in a dropdown, however, that quick and seamless access is totally gone.
I personally see no reason to have it buried way over there, and it is not even logical.
Please put it back where it was!
100% agree. It adds an extra step. I'm in settings every day and I really don't like the new settings location!
It's one extra click...
It's one extra click...
And more actions required before that.
Reducing clicks (some call them touch points) is a software design best practice.
I don't see the logic for this move.
Agreed. Not a fan of the new location.
This was handled in the new sidebar menu!
Yes, I noticed that, thanks.
All the same, I had put a bookmark for settings page on my browsers' bookmark bar, and find that easier to get to.
