Every once in a while there are situations where we don't ask a guest to sign a renter agreement on their booking. It could be a family member, a friend, or it could be a booking that we had to re-create from an original (canceled) booking.
It would be nice if there was some kind of indicator on the "Legal" page of the booking to tic that tells the system that a renter agreement IS on file, even though one wasn't actually signed through OwnerRez.
This way, any triggers that we might have that would not fire if a signed agreement is not on file can register that the indicator is selected and will therefore trigger as scheduled.
I use a trigger to send the check-in instructions email and door code 10 days in advance of the guests' arrival as long as the booking is paid in full and a signed renter agreement is on file. But on these specific bookings the trigger won't fire because we did not ask the guests to sign a renter agreement.
If we could just tic the indicator on the legal page to trick the system into thinking a signed agreement IS on file, that would save us the trouble of having to manually send the check-in instructions email and door code to the guest.
For these instances, which are few and far between in my particular business, I just send the agreement to myself and sign it. lol
