I have many properties that due to various reasons have unique seasons.
Mostly because owners block dates that do not adhere to any sort of schedule
As a result I end up with all sorts of exceptions to seasons and with 37 properties
it becomes quite a task keeping up with them.
I have come to the conclusion that I almost need a set of seasons for every property.
It would be great if I could just copy the seasons from property to property.
For example
Unit 304 has the following. Unit 305 is probably very similar with a couple of tweaks.
If I could just BATCH COPY 304 seasons to 305 that would be a huge timesaver.
Generally seasons are meant to apply across many different properties, while spot rates are designed to be finely tuned for specific properties at exact times.
Can I ask you to elaborate exactly what adjustments you're making that can't be done via spot rates. I see you mentioned owner block dates is it related to those?
I use PRICELABS so I am exclusively using spot rates.
I am only using SEASONS to
*enforce minimum day restrictions,
*define seasons to correspond with the PL spot rates
PL on it's own will not enforce SAT to SAT for example, it requires using OR seasons.
So I have 37 properties and while a generic season, JUN-JUL-AUG could be
used to enforce Sat to Sat with 7 night stay for a group of assigned properties
there are always exceptions.
These exceptions are because I set a season for SAT to SAT and I have 20 properties assigned to it.
Then I have many owners who want to block things that do not adhere to Sat to Sat so I created
"exception" seasons.
So it is very time consuming and if I had the ability to simply copy seasons such as
wp1-jun-jul-aug-sat-7-7 (water pointe 1 jun jul aug sat to sat 7 days a week) to
wp1-unit-100-jun-jul-aug-sat-7-7 it would be a great help
It is also important to understand I am only using seasons as a structure...I do not have prices associated with the seasons.
I am not looking to copy rates, just the season shell.

Thank you for the additional information!
I wanted to reach out and add a little more to this discussion, I would also recommend reaching out to PriceLabs and showing your interest for them to integrate with our newer Spot Rates API that supports check in/out restrictions. We've already passed that information a long to them, but it appears that would allow spot rates/PriceLabs to manage this particular situation for you.
