We put a link to Jotform in our OR rental agreement. Jotform opens in a new window. Guest uploads DL photo (multiple ways to do this is offered by Jotform) which gets emailed to us. We save this image in the files tab of the reservation. A lot of steps but get the job done.
What I really wish for is an activity log for a reservation. So, If someone switches dates or properties there is a log of what was done. We have multiple people taking calls and working on reseravations. I history of past activity would be really helpful.

This is by far the most requested feature and, Paul W, back in March you acknowledged that its importance to your customers. Since then, I and several others have requested an update on this.

Ken has indicated that a third party verification solution is in the works instead, which is not the requested solution.

All we want is a simple means for guests to upload photos of their IDs. Can you please provide us with an update on this?

ID upload is still in the works -- it's part of a much larger renter agreement overhaul to make agreements more powerful, more mobile friendly, and add additional custom field types like files, images, and guest lists.

We're definitely aware of the need, but we want to get it done right.

Voting for this feature. Might be easier to capture addtional Adult names and their IDs in a separate message to guests after they signed to avoid delays, but would like the ability for the addtional name/photo ID captures as well.

I went through my rental this year and 14 had bad addresses uploaded by guests.
Tremendous potential for fraud here.

Like others noted, I am using Jotform to collect ID images and selfies of guests holding their IDs with a link in my OR rental agreement.  I was using Jotform for all of my rental agreements (prior to OR) with great success.  I'm no super techie but maybe an integration with Jotform would do the trick?

So Anne are you in possession of the IDs? I'm trying to avoid being in possession of someone's ID which is why I'm trying this stripe out.

I've been downloading them out of Jotform (delete them from there afterwards), and upload the files to the Files section of that booking, then delete the files from my computer.  Hope this makes sense.  It's not perfect but the best solution that I've been able to come up with for now.

would you please be very specific

and share a step by step process on how to integrate this JotForm request within 

a standard Agreement that is sent out by OR automatically to every booking, 

.....or another way through OR.

Such as: ( step by step ) 

1. Go to JotForm.com and sign up for free account

2. Go To Templates on left 

3. Go to file upload form

4.  etc etc

5. Copy link and add / insert into legal agreement form

Question and thank you so much for sharing, what sort of email or request are you saying to guests to ask them to complete it. All the platforms and security companies tell every one to be super careful about links to websites etc.
