Thank you @Shawn H.  I know when I bought my Lexus the reason they did not have Google Auto integration was because Google wanted detailed information about all their customers, regardless of if they used that feature or not.  That's why I asked.  Since I go out of my way to block Google tracking (as well as all social media tracking) with a multi-tiered approach, it's something of great concern for me.  It's also something I use in my marketing and features prominently in my privacy policy.

Is there any update on the Google STR integration?  Last update was this would be live in June 2023.  Thank you!

Last update was June 6 and reiterated that they do not publicly release timelines since they are dependent on Google. Subscribe to the thread and you'll get notified of any updates when they are posted rather than having to check in here and ask.

They sure did! Hostaway went live with this several weeks ago. OwnerRez is diligently working on this too and will deliver it to us in top notch quality as always.

I sure hope they get this and others set up - with the economy and competition I need to be listed in as many places as I can.  I love OwnerRez but honestly am looking at other PMS that are compatible with Google, Expedida, Glamping Hub, Lodge Lovers, and others

Glamping Hub - 0 bookings in YEARS, disconnected; Expedia - Vrbo already lists your property on Expedia. 

We're in an area that has quite a few Glamping sites and that is our niche' so we're seeing more activity on this site.  I'm on Vrbo but I don't come up on Expedia.  I have friends with similar properties (11 cabins on 1 site) that are encouraging me to move to RezNexus.  I've been resisting with the hope OwnerRez gets these sites connected but really struggling to wait much longer. 

Many of us are “watching” this topic for official updates on Google Vacation Rentals. This means that every response and discussion gets sends a notification. There are great discussions going on on social media (unofficial Ownerrez group etc) where you can discuss these things all you want but it would be nice to keep this to significant discussions and updates on the topic. Thanks. 

Here's an official update! Please be assured that the Google Vacation Rentals integration is our number one channel priority and it has been for months. The certification and testing process is complicated and we're working to get things right from the start. Many OwnerRez users will be signing up to use Google Vacation Rentals so we need it to handle the demand as well as our API connections to Airbnb and Vrbo do. Our competitors rushed to get their GVR integration out and are now paying for it on the backend.

Here's a sneak peek though of how close we're getting - this is an actual property listing that is pushed via OwnerRez to Google Vacation Rentals as part of our testing:

While it looks complete, it's not yet. But we do see the light at the end of the tunnel. So more to come, sooner rather than later.

P.S. You may have seen over on our Blog, since the beginning of 2023, many other partnership integration announcements (e.g. Wheelhouse, Turno, Breezeway, Minut, Lynx, Nofie), but please note, those companies are integrating to OwnerRez and have worked many weeks and months to do so with their own resources.

Thanks for the update and for not rushing it.  Nothing is worse than having a long-awaited feature only to have problem, after problem, using it.

I'm late to the party here, but recently learned of Google Vacation Rentals... my question is, is it best to apply to become part of GVR now, or do we wait until OR has finished the integration and then connect via OwnerRez?  I apologize if I'm way off or if this has been answered already.  

When it's finished will us host need to set anything up or will it be automatic? Really excited for this new feature!

It will be an API Integration that you turn on (like all other channel API connections).

This work has taken longer than we all wanted it to and it will be released as soon as it can! Last week's product update blog post provided an update on the timeline.
